1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Launchd ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Launchd is an AI-powered website builder that generates, hosts, and manages websites for small businesses. The Service includes website generation, hosting on Launchd subdomains, custom domain support (on applicable plans), and related features.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. One person or business entity may maintain multiple sites but only one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use Launchd to create websites that contain illegal content, promote violence or hate speech, infringe on intellectual property rights, distribute malware, engage in phishing or fraud, or violate any applicable laws. You are solely responsible for the content on your websites.

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any site that violates these terms without notice.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you provide (business descriptions, images, etc.). You grant Launchd a license to use this content to provide the Service. The AI-generated website content (HTML, copy, design) is owned by you once generated. Launchd retains the right to use anonymized data to improve the Service.

6. Payment and Billing

Free accounts may build and preview sites at no cost. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

Launchd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall Launchd be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your sites will be unpublished and your data will be deleted within 30 days, except as required by law. You may export your website HTML before termination.
