In 2016, Elena Vasquez was a burned-out management consultant pulling 70-hour weeks when her doctor told her she needed to slow down or deal with serious health consequences. She walked into a yoga class that afternoon on a dare from a friend.
Six months later, she quit consulting. Two years after that, she opened Luna on Brattle Street. The name comes from the moon — cycles, phases, the idea that growth isn't linear and rest is part of the process.
She designed Luna to be the studio she wished had existed: no judgment, no pressure to be flexible or fit, no intimidating energy. Just good teaching, warm space, and room to figure things out on the mat.
